About FightTime
Welcome to FightTime, a SMART Systems product. FightTime is an online system which allows organisers in the UK to plan, promote and sell tickets or registrations to any event, tournament, course or workshop. Our goal is to make it easy for everyone to discover events, and to share the events they are attending with the people they know. The following pages contain our Privacy Policy.

Our Policy:
This Privacy Policy sets forth our policy with respect to information, including personally identifiable information ("Personal Data"), that is collected from users of and/or visitors to the Services (including through those users' and visitors' agents) ("you" or "your"), including (i) registered users who are event organisers, planners and charitable organisations ("Organisers"), (ii) users who want to purchase tickets to, register for or donate to events (whether free or paid) listed by Organisers on the Services ("Consumers"), and (iii) other non-Organiser users or visitors to the Services ("other non-Organisers").
We take the privacy of your Personal Data and other information seriously. Because of that, we have created this Privacy Policy. Please read this Privacy Policy as it includes important information regarding your Personal Data and other information.

In some cases we may collect your credit card information (e.g., your credit card number and expiration date, billing address, etc.), some of which may constitute Personal Data, to secure certain payments. In addition, if you use our payment processing services, we will collect financial information from you (e.g., your bank account information or an address to send cheques) as necessary to facilitate payments and information required for tax purposes (e.g., your taxpayer identification number).
Consumers and other non-Organisers: We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information to the Services (including event registration pages within the Services), such as when you register for access to the Services (whether as an Organiser or otherwise), register for an event as a Consumer, contact us with inquiries, respond to one of our surveys or use certain parts of the Services. In addition, Organisers can set up event registration pages to collect virtually any information from Consumers in connection with registration for an Organiser's event listed on the Services. If a Consumer voluntarily provides that information in connection with registration for an event or otherwise, it will be available to us and will be held by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In addition, such information will be delivered to the Organiser of the applicable event in accordance with "Our Disclosure of Information That We Collect: Organisers" below.

We also collect Non-Personal Data (including, without limitation, of the type set forth above) from third parties. The information we collect from third parties may be combined with the information we collect.
Aggregated Personal Data: In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Services, we often conduct research on our customer demographics, interests and behaviour based on Personal Data and other information that we have collected. This research may be compiled and analysed on an aggregate basis and this aggregate information does not identify you personally and therefore is considered and treated as Non-Personal Data under this Privacy Policy.

Cookie Policy
Cookies are sent by web sites that you visit and stored by web browser applications (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) to remember information relating to the web site, and your activity on that site.  The major uses of cookies are normal and necessary to keep track of your visit (or 'session') - for example to allow you to build a shopping basket or to log in to an online account.

Cookies are either 'session cookies' or 'permanent cookies' (also called 'persistent'), though even permanent cookies can expire after a while.  Often a web site will just use cookies to store a 'token' to recognise a visitor rather than actually storing potentially personal data in the cookie.  Some sites may store personal data in a cookie on the computer (or smart-phone etc.) you use - and so you may want to consider whether the computer you are using could be used by others.

Most web sites used 'first party' cookies to remember information for their own benefit, however there may be in addition some 'third party' cookies stored for third party services used on the site.  Third party services can include tracking web site statistics, and tracking online advertising.

Cookies Used

PHPSESSID -1st party - session - used by PHP to maintain state during a web site session (visit).  The cookie is a token and does not contain any personal data and if present is necessary for the operation of the site.
_utm* - 1st/3rd party - persistent - these cookies are for Google Analytics

With respect to legislation on the use of cookies and consent for them, the cookies we use are strictly necessary for the provision of our service (i.e. this web site) to you.  We monitor and comply with industry best practice aiming to provide the most effective service to our customers.
